40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN

Like a lot of people, I was sure 40-Year Old Virgin was going to be filled with comic gags aplenty and not much else. I was surprised, like a lot of people, that it turned out to be an on-the-level, little human interest comedy. And, like a lot of people, I ended up fairly charmed by it.

It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that all the artists involved thought they were making a small film for a small audience. If I’d a been there during the filming, I’d ‘a been thinking that myself.

What can I say? This is a touching,

The ride is a fun one. I laughed a lot, I was touched by the sweetness in it and every performance is a winner.

If you haven’t seen 40 Year-Old Virgin yet and you were wondering if it was decent, it is decent. More than decent. Not amazing, but a very enjoyable night at the movies.
